Though also a dispute resolution lawyer, Yee Huan focuses on construction, energy and engineering-related matters, with experience across court proceedings, arbitration and adjudication under the Construction Industry Payment and Adjudication Act 2012. He regularly acts in high-stakes, complex and technically demanding disputes involving infrastructure, energy projects and commercial developments.
In addition, he advises stakeholders in the insurance sector and maintains an active probate practice, handling both contentious and non-contentious matters, including wills, trusts and estate administration.
Yee Huan is both a strategist and a realist. He provides clear, practical guidance on how matters should be approached, where lines should be drawn and what outcomes can realistically be expected. His advice goes beyond strict legal rights, taking into account the commercial realities of each case.
He previously practised at Messrs Shook Lin & Bok, where he was appointed partner in 2023, before co-founding Messrs Sanjiv Naddan & Huan in August 2025.
He is fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin, and conversant in Hokkien, in Hokkien, Hakka and
Cantonese.
